The Ten of Pentacles is a card that most people enjoy seeing when it first comes up in a reading, not realizing that it is more than just material riches. It can also show a disconnected family, or an attitude of not appreciating all of the physical and spiritual gifts available in your life. In the Paulina Tarot, a lady leans back against a wall of flowers, her dress covered in nine of the pentacles. She holds the tenth, which looks more like a sphere than a flat pentacle.
Morning Musings
I have the feeling that this doesn’t relate to money matters, at least not today, for me. I’m not expecting any gifts, or paychecks today.
So, today will more than likely have me focusing on the gifts already in my life, including my wonderful family and friends. Appreciating them and helping out in any way I can.
I do have some housework to catch up on, but with how I’ve been feeling lately, I don’t know how much progress I’ll make.
Evening Review
So, as usual, today has went completely off the intended track. My earache had me down and out again, so my friends talked me into going to the doctor.
Now, I am not a fan of going to the doctor. But considering how long this has been bothering me, I thought it might be a serious infection and need treatment. So I go to the doctor, and pay a rather large chunk of cash to be seen for three whole minutes and told that all I needed to do was clean out my ears. Meh. But at least it was nothing serious.
I also tweaked the TarotMusings.com website, to make it visually more appealing and easier to read. Please let me know what you think! It took some figuring, as since this theme is so easy to customize, I missed the obvious “custom theme” setting. Doh!
I am also planning out a very special e-book, to help people get to know their tarot decks. Stay tuned! More info will be upcoming, as I get to work on it!
One other thing: I did reconfirm a very special friendship today. Lending an ear to someone who needed it very much. I am glad I could be there for them.
On the material side of the pentacles, I did receive an order of new cups for the household. I went with the tropical motif: white, orange and green. They are very nice! And I wasn’t expecting them to arrive for another week.
I also had a run in with a man who was trying to drop off a loaner car. But he was at the wrong address! Now, I wouldn’t mind another car, but…not mine. Phooey.
Oh, and the chores thing didn’t really happen. The dishwasher died. I would’ve thought that to be a cups thing, but oh well.
So, all in all, a very full and hectic day! Running into pentacles on the left and right.
